Bags packed!

I am officially full-term as of Sunday. It feels good to know that Dylan is fully formed and now he is just packing on the pounds...and so is momma :) I go to my next appointment tomorrow (12-30-09) and I am hoping I have made some good progress.
We had a good Christmas this year. Trey's sister and her family came at the beginning of the week and my parents came at the end. Trey's parents are planning on coming sometime this week and after they leave the Christmas decorations are coming down. I don't know if I am nesting, but the fact that Christmas is over and I still have decorations out is really getting to me. I am paranoid that I am going to go into labor and we will be bringing Dylan home to a house that is still decked-out in Christmas decor.
I think it has hit us both that we are about to become parents and we might not have as much time together as we use to. This past month, instead of watching T.V. at night, we have been playing card/board games and Wii. Trey got a Wii for one of his gifts and we have become addicted to Super Mario Brothers. The day my parents left, we played for about 5 hours. I am doing it while I can because once baby comes I know my Wii days are over.
We checked the last two things off our list this week: pack bags and install car seat. Our bags are packed and sitting in the room waiting for Dylan's arrival. We installed the car seat a couple days ago, which was a little more difficult than we first thought. Jenny (Trey's sis) helped Trey last night and made sure it was in correctly and ready to go. It's nice to know that we have everything done (that we know of) and we can sit back, relax (not really) and wait for Dylan to make his arrival.

I will leave you with a couple of pics from this past week...we made Christmas sweaters!

36 Weeks and 4 Days

I had my 36-week appointment today and everything looked great. I was dilated to 1 cm and my strep-B test came back negative. We pre-registered this morning, which wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be; We only had to wait about 20 minutes. Now, when I go into labor, all we will have to do is flash them our drivers license and that's it. I go back for my 37-week appointment next Thursday, so cross your fingers I progress even more :)

It's Christmas in two days-woohoo! We are doing things a little differently this year because I can't travel. Instead of going to Texas, like I have for the last 27 years, everyone is coming to us. It's a nice change-of-pace, but it just doesn't feel right. My parents are coming today and staying until Sunday. Trey's parents and sister are coming on Monday and staying for a few days. It's nice because we are dragging out Christmas, but it's hard knowing we have some family we are not going to be seeing this holiday :(
It's crazy to think that this is our last Christmas without children. I get so excited thinking about next year and having a little one around to celebrate the holidays with...our world is about to be rocked!

Trey and I decided a while ago that we were going to use gDiapers, which is a kind of cloth diapers. We have heard nothing but great things regarding this brand, so we decided to give it a try. We set up our diapering service this week and they are delivering our first batch of diapers next Tuesday. It's things like that that make me realize he will be here before we know it :)

I will update again and post pictures after the holidays. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I can't wait for 2010!

First Post

We decided to jump on the "blog" bandwagon. We wanted a way for our family and friends to keep up with us during this exciting time. We hope you enjoy reading our updates and we thank you in advance for taking an interest in our lives.

What's been happening these last few months:
-We found out we were pregnant on May 18th, 2009
-Trey and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on June 3rd
-It's a boy and his name is Kenneth Dylan Keller
...We're going to call him Dylan
-He is due to arrive around January 18th, 2010

As of today, I am 35 weeks and 3 days. I had a doctor's appointment this morning and everything looked good. I am now going every week and officially have 34 more days left-woohoo! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as these last few weeks come and go. God has truly blessed us!

I will add another update again soon, but wrap this one up with a fe
