Dylan loves when he is the center-of-attention (who doesn't), and he loved having Papaw to play with 24/7...gave momma a nice break :) It's funny how fast kids catch on. Dylan totally knows that he can get away with things with Papaw that he can't with momma...we are going to have to work on Papaw saying "no" :)
PICTURE TIME
When we went to the toy store, Dylan picked out a guitar in about 45 seconds. I do not have a picture of the guitar, but I do have a picture of the last present he got from my parents...a vacuum. Anytime I would vacuum, Dylan would get his bat and act like he was vacuuming too. My parents got him the Dirt Devil vacuum and Dylan vacuums everything...to bad it doesn't actually do anything-my house would be spotless! This is Dylan at the zoo playing with the other kids. We got a family membership last month and Dylan loves going and looking at the animals and playing on the huge playground. This picture is Dylan on a toddler trampoline...he loved it until he bit his tongue :)
My sister, Jess, works at a publishing company and she got us free tickets to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Word-to-the-wise...do not take a 14 month old to a museum. Dylan did not like that it was quiet and felt the need to fill the void with his shrieks. It was a very cool museum, but next time I go I am getting a babysitter. Dylan is posing in front of Elvis' collection of records.
Dylan LOVES to dance. A Taylor Swift video was playing and he obviously felted "moved" by the music and needed to get down and dance. He had an audience that was clapping, so he was happy.
I was trying to calm him down at the museum, so I made him sit on a bench for a while...as you can see by his expression, he wasn't very happy. His shirt says, "Lock up your daughters" ;)
Dylan loves carousels and this was him and Papaw riding the one at the zoo.
Dylan as 3 luvies (little blankets) - we don't go anywhere without at least one of them. He took his giraffe luvie to the zoo that day. Half way through our trip I looked down and saw that it was no longer with us. My dad was certain that someone had found it and thrown it in a trashcan. We walked the whole zoo looking in each trashcan, but we never found it. I (and Dylan) was so upset, but we just received a new giraffe luvie in the mail and Dylan is all better...thanks Grandma!
And last, but not least, a baby picture. This was taken at 9 weeks. I realize now that I was not wearing the best outfit to try and show off the bump, but you can tell it's there. When I take another one at 12 weeks I will wear something better.
Dylan and Cash are so similar! Cash is a dancin' fool, and he LOVES to vacuum. He used to be terrified of the vacuum but now he finds it totally fascinating. I need to get him that toy vacuum. He also loves sweeping. Haha! You look great! Isn't it crazy how quick you start showing the second time around?!?
